Katelyn Peterson is an adjunct instructor in the exercise science program at Lakeland University. She teaches Introduction to Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she also coordinates the physical and occupational therapy internships for Lakeland University exercise science students at Advocate Aurora Health Care where she is the Lead Physical Therapist. At Advocate Aurora Health Care, she specializes in sports medicine rehabilitation and is a system-wide sports specialist. Additionally, she treats vestibular dysfunction and concussions. She holds her Board-Certification in Orthopedics and certifications include dry needling and as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Peterson earned a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
