Caps and Gowns
All participating graduates are required to have full apparel (cap, gown, hood and tassel). Please follow this link to purchase your attire from the Campus Shop. Full instructions are on the website.
Your graduation attire, along with any honor cords earned, are yours to keep. Please note that honors are not awarded to Master's degree candidates. Your hood lining and tassel color are determined by your major or Master's degree.
Fall 2014 graduates and anticipated spring 2015 graduates are eligible to participate in the May 3, 2015 commencement ceremony. Summer 2015 anticipated graduates with fewer than 13 credits remaining to degree completion are also eligible to participate in the May 3, 2015 ceremony. Summer anticipated graduates with 13 or more credits to complete are not eligible and will be invited to participate in the May 2016 ceremony. Also, students graduating in fall 2015 will be invited to participate in the May 2016 ceremony. Please work with your academic advisor to determine degree completion status.
Students who earned a Lakeland undergraduate degree previously are not eligible to participate in the 2015 ceremony.
Students who previously earned a Lakeland College undergraduate degree and are now completing another major or minor under the PACE program are not eligible to participate in the ceremony. Students who previously have earned a Lakeland College undergraduate degree and are now completing a Lakeland College graduate degree are eligible to participate. Graduate students who completed a Lakeland College master's degree previously and are now completing another concentration are not eligible to participate.
