The program’s home base is on Lakeland’s main campus, in Plymouth, Wis. Hands-on classroom instruction, laboratory practice and clinical nursing experiences are offered at Moraine Park Technical College, conveniently located just a short shuttle ride away. Students will gain real-world skills through clinical rotations at top healthcare agencies in the area, preparing you for success in your nursing career.

The Wisconsin Hospital Association's 20th annual workforce report highlights a critical issue: the growth of Wisconsin's nursing workforce is not keeping pace with the increasing demand.
This exciting partnership between Lakeland University and Moraine Park Technical College (MPTC) is helping to solve this problem.
Using Lakeland University's innovative Cooperative Education program, students will explore various types of nursing jobs that they can pursue after graduating — while getting paid. And, thanks to our partnership with Moraine Park Technical College, students will learn the necessary nursing skills in dedicated labs, taught by expert faculty.
Students can take the licensure examination for registered nurses (NCLEX – RN) the term they complete the bachelor's degree in nursing.

*Exceptions to the above admission criteria may be granted for students with a cumulative GPA range from 1.75 to 1.99 if the academic experience that resulted in the less than 2.0 GPA was more than two years ago. Furthermore, typically students with a cumulative GPA range from 1.50 to 1.75 will only be considered if the poor academic performance experience that resulted in the less than 2.0 GPA was more than five years ago. Students receiving an exception will be admitted conditionally.
