Estimated Merit Scholarship

This is one of the most important investments you'll ever make, and now that you've narrowed down your college options, cost has become a factor.

Here at Lakeland, we provide all of the educational and cultural benefits inherent in a private, liberal arts institution — at a price that's competitive with most public and private colleges and universities.

How much does it cost to attend Lakeland College? There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Your out-of-pocket cost, in large part, is determined by a formula based on academic merit, co-curricular experience and financial information your family will provide.

Ninety-nine percent of incoming freshmen receive grants and scholarships that reduce tuition cost — often significantly. Those never have to be paid back. Click here to answer a few easy questions and take a sneak peek at your estimated tuition costs.

Once all of the numerous grants and scholarships are awarded, and after actual tuition cost is established and on-campus employment is finalized, families should determine how to fund the final portion of the educational experience through various family resources and readily available loans.

Even after you enroll and begin taking classes, significant savings are available. It's up to you. Lakeland students with qualifying grade point averages are eligible for renewable academic scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $8,000 a year. Student employment is another vital component of paying for college and building a professional resume for the future. A majority of our students work on campus, where more than 580 paying jobs are available each year.

Add it all up, and Lakeland College offers one terrific value proposition.
